El Gato Diablo Projects
El Gato Theatre typically produces shows that the entire family can enjoy, but occasionally we want to do things just for us grownups. We call these Diablo Projects.

We strive to distill grand epic stories into small scale pieces where the actor can provide the spectacle and the audience can provide the imagination. We want theatregoers to look at the world through a slightly different lens, with stories that dabble in the absurd and the comedic, the terror of grand guignol, and the playfulness of commedia.

This ain't your grandma's theatre. Unless she was an absurdist, subversive, drag queen who found that contemporary realism left her feeling flat. In which case, it might be.
